Wilson Miller Funeral Home, Inc. offers several different options when cremation is selected. Below are the most common choices families make when arranging a cremation service. Our general price list is linked at the bottom of this page so you may have accurate pricing on all options.

Traditional Service with Cremation

Most families choose this option because it gives them lots of time to remember their loved one and visit with family and friends. With traditional burial, the family may have an afternoon and/or evening of viewing with a funeral service to be held the next day. After the services are held, the cremation is performed.

Simple Service with Cremation

Families who choose this option do so because it still offers a viewing and formal funeral service, but in a more simple format. For this option, everything is done on the same day at one location. The viewing is usually held 1 - 2 hours prior to the funeral service and committal service. After the services are held, the cremation is performed.

Memorial Service after Cremation

For those who want something both simple yet dignified, families can have a memorial service held either at the funeral home or another venue. Usually this is preceded by an hour or two of visitation. Instead of a casket, the family can choose to have the urn present. Some families even keep things traditional by processing to the cemetery with the urn for burial following the memorial service.

Immediate Cremation

This service is for those who want to services to be held. For this service the funeral home coordinates the cremation only.
