Services

The first thing to consider when planning a celebration of your loved ones life is the final disposition. Whether it is earth burial or cremation, we are here to help you plan a meaningful celebration.

Earth burial is when the remains are interred in a grave. Usually this proceeds a formal funeral service. Interment is in a cemetery and can be in the ground or in a special building called a mausoleum.

Traditional Earth Burial

This option is chosen by most because it offers family the most time to reflect on their loved one. This would include having a viewing the day before and then a funeral service the next day with final committal service at cemetery. Families are encouraged to bring items of significance into the funeral home to display during visiting hours.

Custom Service Earth Burial

For this option, everything is done on the same day at one location. The viewing is usually held 1 - 2 hours prior to the funeral service and committal service. After the funeral, family is welcome to come to the cemetery and witness the burial.

Graveside Service Earth Burial

For those who want something both simple yet dignified, a graveside service is best. This is a small service held directly at the cemetery and is usually no longer than 30 minutes.

Cremation is becoming more popular however, many people still do not understand all of the options available to them. The following are the many different options of cremation that can be tailored to a proper celebration.

Traditional Service with Cremation

This option is chosen by most because it offers family the most time to reflect on their loved one. This would include having a viewing the day before and then a funeral service the next day. After the funeral service, the cremation would take place. Families are encouraged to bring items of significance into the funeral home to display during visiting hours. This option gives people lots of time to reflect on their loved one. After cremation, the ashes can be interred, kept at home or scattered.

Custom Service Cremation

For this option, everything is done on the same day at one location. The viewing is usually held 1 - 2 hours prior to the funeral service and committal service. After the funeral the cremation would take place. After cremation, the ashes can be interred, kept at home or scattered.

Direct Cremation with Memorial Service

When there is not a desire to have a viewing, we perform the cremation first and then a memorial service may be held after with the ashes present.

Direct Cremation with no Services

For those who do not wish to have any service, we can perform a direct cremation without any type of service. After cremation, the ashes can be interred, kept at home or scattered.
