Obituary
Timothy S. Pomranky, age 74 of Midland, died Thursday, April 6, 2023 at his home. He was born in Midland on October 19, 1948 to Jack and Marge (Stanchfield) Pomranky and was a graduate of Midland High School Class of ’66. Together with his brother Joe, Tim owned and operated both the Pomranky Sports Center and Cross Auto Parts for many years. He enjoyed being outside in nature with some of his favorite hobbies being hunting and fishing. However, nothing could compare to his passion for Detroit Sports.
Surviving is his wife of 28 years, Dori Pomranky; son, Justin Pomranky; grandchildren, Aiden and Colin; siblings, Gary (Candy) Pomranky, Joe Pomranky (Susan Richardson), Connie Wismer (Scott Thompson), Michelle (Ron) Geiger; along with many nieces, nephews, and great friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Marge Pomranky.
Services to celebrate Tim’s life will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, April 12, 2023 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11 am until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be offered to the Midland County Humane Society. Personal messages of condolence may be offered to the family at www.wilson-miller.com.
