Our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, Tad M. Robison, was called to heaven on December 27, 2021, at the age of 64. He was born on May 22, 1957, to parents, Robert J. Robison and Theresa A. (Jerry) Robison. A lifelong resident of Midland, he graduated from Midland High School, attended Northwood University and joined the family in the jewelry business at Robison’s Fine Jewelry. At the time of his passing, he was the owner of Asset Brokers and Loans. He took great pride in being a successful business owner and was a beloved member of the community.
Tad was the epitome of a family man. He loved his family fiercely and unconditionally. He always said that becoming a grandfather was one of the biggest blessings and proudest moments in his life. His grandchildren lovingly knew him as “Grampy”.
Simply put, Tad was the rock of our family. He was an amazing person, always generous, kind and supportive. If someone needed help in anyway, he would be there in whatever way he could. The hole that his loss has left with his family and friends is deep and will be impossible to fill. We are lucky that we have countless good memories to help us through this challenging time.
In his spare time, Tad enjoyed hunting and fishing. He took pride and joy in sharing these hobbies with his grandchildren and children, he especially loved hunting with his “boys”: “Brady boy”, Bret, Chase and JP. He was an avid golfer and talented tennis player. Tad loved attending every family event, spending time with his friends, boating and camping at Higgins Lake. He was a jack-of-all-trades and enjoyed helping friends or family with home improvement projects.
Tad was preceded in death by his mother, father and brother Blake. Surviving him are his loving children Shannon (Jeremy) Pnacek, Jessica Robison and her fiancé Matthew Beyer, Bret (Teresita) Robison and Chase Robison; grandchildren Brady, Ellie, Everly, Aubrina, Peyton, Brycen, Liam and Carsyn; sisters Patrice Alexander and Ann King; nieces and nephew Grant (Sneha) Alexander and Theresa VanPutten. Tad maintained a special bond with Patricia and Philip Morrison until his passing. Tad had a wonderful group of friends that were very important to him.
A memorial for Tad will be held on Saturday, January 8, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Family will receive guests prior to the memorial beginning at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the Humane Society of Midland County or Safe and Sound Child Advocacy Center to continue Tad’s generosity and desire to protect those in need.
