Richard J. Gach

Gach, Richard (age 58) of Flint, Michigan passed away on April 29 with family by his side.  Memorial services for Richard will be held at 10:00 am on May 13 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, MI.  The family will receive friends from 9:00 am until the time of service.  A luncheon will follow the mass.  His final resting place will be New Calgary Catholic Cemetery.

Richard graduated from the University of Michigan Flint, Business Administration, and Kettering University, Industrial Engineering.  His career began as a manager at Perry Drug Store.  Richard then moved on as an Industrial Engineer at Venture. He spent his later years doing handyman work for those in need, and caring for family.  Richard was a member of Holy Redeemer Church.  He loved doing puzzles, gardening, and spending time with his family.

Born to John and Elinor Gach of Flint, Michigan.  Richard is survived by his siblings Michael (Ann) Gach of Midland, MI; Roxanne (Joseph) Vensko of Flint, MI; Gregory (Teresa) Gach of Grand Blanc, MI; Marcia (Paul) Gratsch of Burton, MI; Robert (Tina) Gach of Owosso, MI; Joseph (Amy) Gach of Swartz Creek, MI; Stephen Gach of Clinton Township, MI; and Ronald (Ruth) Lessard of Pleasanton, CA.  Godparents Thomas (Mary Ann) Panczak of Akron, Ohio; nieces Sara and Haley; nephews Matthew, William, Michael, Joshua, and godchild Taylor Vensko, all survive him, as well as many extended family members.

Richard would like to thank the workers at Brookdale Senior Living in Midland, MI, along with many family and extended family members who aided and prayed for him in his time of need.  Donations can be made in lieu of flowers to the North End Soup Kitchen in Flint, MI.
