Ramsay P. Sadek

Ramsay P. Sadek, age 68 of Midland, passed away Friday January 20, 2023 at his home in Midland. The son of the late Salah E. and Helen (Phoenix) Sadek was born in Champaign-Urbana, Illinois on April 13, 1954. Ramsay was a 1972 graduate of H.H. Dow High School. He was the owner of Design Engineering Group for over 30 years, designing many hotels, restaurants, commercial buildings and also worked 10 years at Midland Center for the Arts, for the little Theatre as ticket manager. Ramsay was a member of the American Institute of Architecture, a former member of the Midland Elks. He had a wonderful sense of humor and personality and was very helpful to many people he called friends.

Surviving is his brother, Mark Sadek; dear family friend, Dana Hahn; cousins, William and Zinny Johnson; his cats that he rescued, Sanderson and Puffington and a special thank you to his nurse from VPA Lori Draves.

Cremation has taken place with a private service. His ashes will be interned next to his parents in Midland City Cemetery. A celebration of Ramsay’s life will take place at a later date. Memorial contribution in Ramsay’s name may be directed to the Humane Society of Midland County. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
