Marguerite (Peggy Lee) Wyman, age 76 of Midland, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ after 6 year battle with cancer, surrounded by her family when she took her last breath here, and now has come face to face with Christ her Savior.
Marguerite enjoyed being a nurse for 40 years working at both Mercy and Bay (McLaren) Hospitals, ending up in Saginaw with Covenant Visiting Nurses. She had a passion for cooking and use to cook for family and friends as well as church events. Marguerite took first place in church events both in Michigan and Valley Baptist Church in Masa, AZ. She enjoyed traveling but most importantly she loved her family and spending time with them as well as spending time with her church family and worshiping God with them.
Surviving are her husband of 18 years, John Wyman; daughter, Michele Lee of Midland; bonus sons, Mike (Cindy) Wyman of Texas, David (Kathy) Wyman of Mt. Pleasant; bonus grandsons, Michael, Eric, Stephen and Joshua; brothers, Homer Trimble of Bay City, Bud Trimble of Colorado; sister, Donna Potter of Bay City; Betty (John) Watts of Mississippi; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; special friend, Linda Winkler, Andy & Nancy Behmlander, Melinda Dill. Marguerite was preceded in death by her parents, Orin and Grace (Hemstreet) Trimble; her first husband, Roger Lee; in laws, Grant and Opal Lee; bonus son, Jay Wyman.
Marguerite wished to express a special “thank you” to Dr. John Hagen and Kelsey at Michigan Family Practice in Freeland; Julie who is the amazing admitting person at Midland Cancer Infusion Clinic; all the great nurses at Midland Cancer Infusion Clinic (they are the best) David H. Laura S, Isabella P, Heidi P, Christina M, Brenda V, Mindy M, Bobbi T, Lisa F, Carrie M, Chris M, Vickie and Jen from Hospice and the Craig and staff at Wilson MILLER Funeral Home for the care of John and Michele.
Funeral and committal services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday May 23, 2023 at Midland Baptist Church with Rev. Jim Payne officiating. Interment will be in Floral Gardens Cemetery, Bay City. Family will receive guests at the Church on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be directed to the Missionary Fund at Midland Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
