Leatha F. Curtis

Leatha F. Curtis, age 95 of Midland, went home to be with Jesus on Tuesday September 12, 2023 at Kindy Care Center. The daughter of the late Noah A. and Iva B. (Valentine) Mast was born in Fairview, Michigan on July 8, 1928. She was a long time member of Eagle Ridge Church of God where she volunteered in many activities. Lea enjoyed growing flowers, going shopping, bird watching and was an avid Detroit Tigers Fan but by far, she loved spending time with family and friends.

Surviving is her children, Rick (Beth) Curtis, Sandy (Robert) Singler, Cindy (Clare) Morse, Sharon (John) Rejewski, Marge (Bob) Scheppele, Bob (Connie) Curtis; 11 grandchildren; 39 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Gladys Ranger, Pat Wilson. In addition to her parents, Leatha was preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Hines in 1960; second husband, Milton Curtis in 2010; 3 brothers; 9 sisters.

A celebration of Leatha’s life will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Wednesday September 20, 2023 at Eagle Ridge Church of God with Rev. Bill Griener officiating. Family will receive guests at the Church on Tuesday from 6 until 8:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. At the request of the family, in lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be directed to Kindy Care Center who provided a home with love and care for Lea during the past 2 ½ years. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
