Obituary

Ida B. Achorn, age 64 of Midland, passed away Tuesday January 31, 2023 at MyMichigan Medical Center. The daughter of the late Billie H. and Verna B. (House) Price was born in West Virginia on October 24, 1958. She enjoyed having coffee with her friends. Ida was very passionate about spending time with her family and friends. On June 3, 1979, Ida married Frank R. Achorn and after 21 years of marriage, he died on April 18, 2001.

Surviving are her children, Regina Achorn and companion, Hal Groves, Lisa (Ace) French, David (Desiree) Achorn; 8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; siblings, William Price, Hope Brownell, Pearl Wilson; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and parents, Ida was preceded in death by her grandson, Adam Achorn; brother, Dale Michael Price.

A time of sharing will take place at 3:00 p.m. Saturday February 4, 2023 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Family will receive guests at the funeral home on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service.
