Frederick John Tessin, age 79 of Midland, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2022 at Brookdale Assisted Living. The son of the late Carl and Maria (Montemayor) Tessin was born March 24, 1943 in Midland. Fred was an avid outdoorsman and was very active in sports. Surviving are his children, Jon (Catherine) Tessin of Colorado Springs and Kim (Steve) Lashuay of Midland; grandchildren, Curtis (Samantha), Jessica, Marissa, Nicholas, and Kaitlyn; sister, Alice (Dennis) Blumke; and special nephew, Bill Rogers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Maxine Tessin; brothers, Dan and Rubin Tessin. Memorial services will be held at 6 pm on Friday, June 10, 2022 at the Wilson Miller Funeral Home. Visitation will be on Friday from 4 pm until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be offered to Cancer Services of Midland County.
