Dolores B. Jackson

Dolores B. Jackson, age 92 of Midland, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2023 at Brittany Manor of Midland. She was born in Midland on January 20, 1931 to the late Lewis and Dorothy (Drake) Morgan. Dolores married Gilbert Jackson in Midland on July 1, 1949 and they shared 56 years together before his death in 2006.

She was a longtime member of Holy Scripture Lutheran Church in Midland and worked many years as an upholsterer. She enjoyed sewing and will be remembered for the love she had for her family.

Surviving are her sons, Michael (Naomi) Jackson, John (Lisa) Jackson; daughters, Peggy Jackson, Lisa (Dwight) Bauder; grandchildren, Tabetha, Jessica, Angela, Matthew, Morgan, Sydney; 10 great grandchildren; and siblings, Jay Morgan, Dixie (Larry) Finney. In addition to her parents and husband, Dolores was preceded in death by her siblings, David Morgan and Patricia Burch.

The family wishes to thank all of those who took care of Dolores, especially those at Brittany Manor in the last few months.

Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from Holy Scripture Lutheran Church with Rev. Paul Schneider officiating. Private burial will be in Lee Twp Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, Inc on Wednesday from 4 – 7 pm and again Thursday at the church from 10 am until the time of service.
