Dean E. Lange, age 82 of Midland, passed away Friday evening November 26, 2021 at his residence. The son of the late Edwin O. and Rebecca O. (Iseler) Lange was born, on June 28, 1939 in Pt. Hope, Michigan. Dean served in the United States Army. He was a Firefighter with the City of Midland until retiring in 1992 after 25 years of service. Dean enjoyed raising and running beagles, he coached little league for 15 years, started Lange Painting in 1976 and playing golf. He was a member and very involved at Lighthouse Body of Christ Church where he served as a Deacon.
Surviving is his wife of 57 years, the former Faith Ingram of whom he married on September 12, 1964 in Pt. Hope United Methodist Church; sons, Joe (Guyan) Lange of Sanford, James (Michelle) Lange of Midland, Anthony Lange of Fenton, Adam Lange of Lansing, Jonathan (Breanne) Lange of Saginaw; 20 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren; sister, Marilee (Allen) Jerome of Midland; brothers, Richard (Kelly) Lange of Sterling Heights, Stephen (Judy) Lange of Midland. In addition to his parents, Dean was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Lange.
Funeral services for Dean will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday December 1, 2021 at Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Youmans officiating. Interment will be in Poseyville Cemetery. Family will receive guests at the funeral home on Tuesday from 4 until 7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
