On September 12, 2023, the world lost a beautiful soul as Courtney Jo Livingston was called home to be with Our Lord. Courtney was an amazing and loving daughter, sibling, granddaughter, niece, cousin, and friend. She was an inspiration to everyone she met.
Courtney had many interests. She loved roller blading and learning to ride her unicycle. Her favorite hobby was thrift shopping with her sister and friends. She collected vintage jewelry, books and trinkets. She could spot a Petoskey stone a mile away and had collected buckets full and hand polished them. Courtney cherished her cats more than anything and they will miss her greatly. Her love for the band My Chemical Romance was second to none and she enjoyed playing The Sims and Just Dance. She spent the last two summers quilting, sewing and babysitting two children, Birdie and Ricky, who she loved very much.
Courtney was born to her loving parents, Michael and Sarah Livingston, on September 26, 2005 and they survive her. Also surviving are her siblings, Alex and Morgan Livingston; grandfather, Jim Livingston; and new grandmother Kitty whom Courtney adored, great grandparents, Bob and Berneice Southworth; aunts and uncles, Stephanie (Jeff) Johnston, Chad (Holly) Southworth, and Brad (Jenny) Southworth; godmother, Bonnie Lederer; along with many cousins, family, and friends. Courtney was welcomed to heaven by her grandparents, Kathryn Livingston, Mark and Nancy Southworth; and great grandparents, Wayne and Frances Radde.
There will be a memorial service held at 11 am on Monday, September 25, 2023 at St. John’s Lutheran Church with a luncheon to immediately follow.
