Beverly Kay Marquiss

Beverly Kay Marquiss, loving mother, sister, and friend passed away September 11, 2023 at her home at the age of 86. She was born on October 28, 1936 in Midland to the late Clair and LaFerne (Earl) Ackerman. Beverly worked for 10 years at the Holiday Inn as in Housekeeping before going to work as a greeter at Walmart, a position she held for over 20 years. She loved all of her cats and enjoyed watching QVC.

Surviving is her son, Douglas Marquiss; and sister, Dixie Miller. She was preceded in death by her former husband of 28 years, Donald L. Marquiss; and sister, Joyce Starks.

Funeral and committal services will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 15, 2023 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Homer Township Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Friday from 10 am until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be offered to the Humane Society of Midland County.
