William A. Urbanawiz II, age 74 of Midland, passed away Tuesday January 16, 2018 at Medilodge of Midland. The son of the late William A. and Laura L. (Hauri) Urbanawiz was born in Tacoma, Washington on December 18, 1943 where he was raised and educated. Bill served in the United States Air Force during the Vietnam War. He had been employed with First Automotive in Midland for over 32 years. Bill enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing bingo, bowling and going to the casino. He was a member of the American Legion Berryhill post No.165.
Surviving is his wife of 47 years the former Clara L. Buckner of whom he married on November 7, 1970; step son Andy Herhold; siblings, Larry (Sue) Urbanawiz, James (Clara) Urbanawiz; Linda Tucker, Marty Bohnow, and Joseph Urbanawiz; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by a step son, Roger Herhold; granddaughter, Pamela Herhold.
Funeral and committal services will be conducted at 11:30 a.m. Saturday January 20, 2018 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Military Funeral Honors being provided by the United State Air Force and the Midland Area Veterans. Interment will be in Midland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family will receive guests at the funeral home on Friday from 4 - 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
