William F. Sheets

William F. Sheets, Sr., age 77 of Midland died Monday, June 6, 2011 at the Hillcrest Adult Foster Care Home. The son of the late William J. and Beulah (Simpson) Sheets was born on July 11, 1933 in Midland where he was raised and educated. He married the former Elaine Betts and she predeceased him on November 11, 2009. Mr. Sheets was an accomplished musician, playing drums and guitar and working seven nights a week to support his family in his younger years. He later worked for General Motors retiring in 1988. He was a member of the Midland Jehovah's Witnesses.

Mr. Sheets is survived by his son, William (Lisa) Sheets Jr.; daughter, Loucinda (Roger) Beach; step son, Robin Bebeau; grandchildren, Leigh Sheets, Angelia Biddinger, Brian Kinsey, Cara Bebeau, Allyssa Bebeau, Brad Sheets, Timothy Beach, Shane Beach, Shania Beach, Braylon Sheets; and seven great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be conducted at 6:00 pm Friday, June 10, 2011 at the Midland Kingdom Hall of the Jehovah's Witnesses, 2990 E. Wheeler St., Midland with Mr. Lawrence Nelson officiating.
Memorials for Mr. Sheets may be offered to Hometown Hospice, 1681 Woodbridge Park Dr., Lapeer, MI 48446.
