William S. Garno

William S. Garno, age 58 of Midland died at his residence on Friday, August 17, 2012.
The son of Helen L. (Wegner) Garno and the late Robert C. Garno was born on July 4, 1954 in Midland where he was raised and educated. Bill was an avid reader, could retain many facts and figures, recalling detailed information. He enjoyed watching Special Olympics, was an avid Central Michigan University Chippewa football fan and took an active part with the family reunions.

Bill is survived by his mother, Helen Garno; brother, Robert D. Garno of Midland; sisters, Patricia Ann Dean of Midland, Barbara (Alan) Howe of Oscoda; sister in law, Kathleen (Rodney) Hair of Sanford and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his father, Robert C. Garno and brother, Gerald Garno.

Funeral and interment service will be at 11:00 am Monday August 20, 2012 at the Lee Township Cemetery Chapel. Visitation will be at the cemetery chapel from 10:00 am until time of service.
Memorials may be offered to the Special Olympics or American Hospice.
The Wilson MILLER Funeral Home is in charge of the services.
