Wayne E. Brown

Wayne E. Brown, age 75 of Sanford died Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at his home. The son of the late Harold and Sally (Morse) Brown was born May 15, 1937 in Vassar. Wayne married the former Marijo (Kilbride) Cuyler on November 1, 1975 in Saginaw. After nearly 34 years of marriage, she predeceased him May 6, 2009. Wayne had worked for General Motors former Saginaw Steering Gear for 30 years, retiring in 1999. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, hunting, working in his yard and on cars.

Mr. Brown is survived by his children, Richard Brown of Cass City, Diane (David) Thornsberry of Kalispel, Montana, Yvonne (Dan) Simon of Twining, Julie (Kent) Childs of Helena, Montana, Wayne (Kathleen) Cuyler, Jr. of Sanford, Timothy (Diane) Cuyler of Sanford, Patti Jo Pickelman of Midland; 19 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; and two sisters. In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his son, Wayne E. Brown, Jr.; and sister, Jackie.

Funeral services for Mr. Brown will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Monday, October 8, 2012 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Pastor Jim Payne of Midland Baptist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Jerome Township Cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service.
