Virginia A. Young, age 57 of Sanford, died Sunday December 20, 2015 at MidMichigan Medical Center, Midland. The daughter of the late Adam and Agnes I. (McCann) Dittenbir was born in Midland on July 26, 1958 where she was raised and educated. She enjoyed sewing, going camping but most of all spending time with her family.
Surviving is her husband of 30 years Cleon W. Young of whom she married on May 9, 1985; daughter, Elizabeth Ann Young of Louisiana; step son, Brent (Sigrid) Young of Florida; step daughter, Korrin (Mike) Leonard of South Dakota; grandchildren, Mykayla & Madisyn Leonard, Adrianna, Ava, Colton, Mason & Klare Young; brothers, Dan (Carrie) Dittenbir, Dave Dittenbir, Phil (Anna) Dittenbir, John ( Debbie) Dittenbir all of Midland, Eddie (Jan) Dittenbir of Pinconning; twin sister, Veronica (Steve) Dornbos of Midland; many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Virginia will take place 2:00 p.m. Wednesday December 23, 2015 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home 4210 N. Saginaw Rd Midland. Interment will follow in Jerome Township Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 12 noon until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to the organization of one's choice.
