Virginia M. (Haskell) Clipper, age 93 of Midland, passed away Sunday morning, February 28, 2021 at Brittany Manor. The daughter of the late Allen D. and Lillian (McCullen) Haskell was born in Midland on September 1, 1927 where she was raised and educated. Virginia was a member of Memorial Presbyterian, enjoyed working in her flower garden and spending time with her family. On December 24, 1942 in Midland, Virginia married Robert B. Clipper and after 76 years of marriage, he died on October 9, 2019.
Surviving is her son, Robert (June) Clipper; daughters, Kathy (Jerry) Freeman, Debra (Brian) Rodgers; grandchildren, Richard (April), Robert (Angie) Clipper, Robin (Tom) Haley, Matthew (Jessica), Todd (Vanessa), Brad (Sarah) Rodgers, Krystal (Paul) Williams, Amber Freeman, Bandy Mason; 23 great grandchildren; sister, Lillian Wright; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by a great grandchild; brothers, Normand and Allen Haskell; sister, Delores Watts.
Due to Covid restriction, the family will be having a private funeral service. Interment will be in Midland City Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Midland Salvation Army or Shriner Children's Hospital. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
