Virginia Rose (Stewart) Fitch, age 78 of Prudenville, passed away February 22, 2024 at her home. She was born in Carolton, MI on March 5, 1945 to the late Posey and Betsey (Noffsinger) Stewart. She married Jerry Fitch on August 8, 1983 in Las Vegas.
Virginia loved the outdoors, gardening (especially growing tomatoes), and feeding the birds and deer. She enjoyed doing crossword puzzles, thrift shopping, and garage sales. Most of all, Virgina enjoyed spending time with her family.
Surviving is her husband, Jerry Fitch; children, David (Cathy) Baase, Gilbert Baase, Jerry (Wendy) Fitch Jr., Fred (Anne) Fitch, Ron (Jill) Fitch, Karen Fitch, Jodi Fitch; 29 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren; and sister, Betty. In addition to her parents, Virginia was preceded in death by her children, Cynthia Baase and Robert Fitch.
