Thursa M. Colby

Thursa M. (Wiltse) Colby, age 81 of Sanford, died Friday, September 16, 2011 at her home.

The daughter of the late Clifford and Nora (Whelton) Wiltse was born May 29, 1930 in Saginaw where she was raised and educated.
Thursa married Charles Colby May 23, 1975 in Saginaw and moved to Sanford in 1980. She co owned with her husband Sanford Hardware for thirteen years and also Lakeside Market for seven years.
Thursa had worked at Miller Mold in Saginaw as an office manager; retiring in 1987.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; sons, Brian (Patty) Rombalski of Midland, Terry (Laura) Rombalski of Chicago; step son, Guy (Cindy) Colby of Diamondale; step daughter, Sandra Winterstein of Freeland; grandchildren, Heather, Annmarie and Nora; and sister, Agnes Cox of Saginaw.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by brothers, Russell and Harold Wiltse and sister, Ruby Miller.

A memorial gathering for Mrs. Colby will be held at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Saturday, September 24, 2011 from noon until 2:00 pm.
