Thomas "Tom" D. Gray, age 79 of Midland, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at his residence with his family by his side. The son of the late Theodore A. and Marguerite E. (Glasgow) Gray was born September 7, 1938 in Saginaw. He was employed with Dow Corning as a Millwright, retiring in 1993 after 29 years of service. Tom served his country with the United States Army, was a member of Knights of Columbus Counsel # 8043 and was a University of Michigan sports enthusiast.
Surviving are his wife of nearly 60 years, the former Pat Lincoln of whom he married on June 15, 1959 at St. Phillip Neri Church in Coleman; son, Ted (Robin) Gray of Midland; daughter, Laurie (Frank) Chavez of Saginaw; grandchildren, Matthew and Nathan Meyer; brother Bill (Jackie) Gray of Midland; brother in-law, Joe (Jan) Lincoln of Midland; and sister in-law, Pat Lincoln of Sanford.
In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his Father and Mother in-law Arthur (Alberta) Lincoln and his brother in-law, Richard Lincoln.
The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:00 am on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 from Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church in Sanford with Fr. Dan Fox OFM CAP officiating. Rite of Committal will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery with military honors being provided by the Midland Area Veterans. Family will receive friends at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm and again on Wednesday at the church from 10:00 am until the time of service. A rosary will be said for Tom at the funeral home on Tuesday at 7:00 pm. Memorials in Tom's name may be offered to Mid-Michigan Hospice or Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church.
