Theodore "Ted" J. Barnhart

Theodore "Ted" J. Barnhart, age 55 of Midland formerly of Laingsburg, Michigan died Saturday evening December 1, 2012 at K & K Adult Foster Care Home. The son of the late Raymond H. and Wilma (Nichols) Barnhart was born in St. John, Michigan on February 15, 1957. He had been employed with General Motors until retiring in 2005 after 31 years of service. Ted enjoyed hunting, working on cars & big machines, and going on adventures. He was very proud of his sons, had a good heart and enjoyed being with his grandkids. Ted was a member of NRA and A.A.

Surviving are sons, Buck (Amy) Barnhart of Sanford, Drew (Dasia) Barnhart of Midland, Sergeant Cody Barnhart of Kansas; grandkids, Owen and Lillian; brothers, Jesse (Dedee) Barnhart of Springfield, Oregon, Matt (Lisa) Barnhart of Houghton Lake; sisters, Jamie (Greg) Patrick of Lansing, Dori Barnhart of Houghton Lake, Jeanine (Kevin) Spitzley of Grand Ledge; many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will take place 4:00 p.m. Tuesday December 4, 2012 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Family will receive friends from 12 noon until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to K & K Adult Foster Care Home. ,
