Theadora A. Stearns

Theadora A. Stearns, a vibrant and compassionate young woman, passed away on July 11, 2026, in Midland, Michigan, at the age of 23. Born on May 25, 2003, to Terry and Michelle (Hicks) Stearns in Grand Rapids, MI.

A talented tattoo artist, Theadora expressed her creativity through her art and found joy in painting and listening to music. She had a deep appreciation for the ocean, often finding peace sitting by the waves. An adventurous spirit, she loved traveling with friends and family, surfing, and had a passion for fast cars. Her love for animals was evident in her bond with her beloved cat, Thumper. Theadora also had a playful side, with a particular fondness for pirates— especially Jack Sparrow.

Theadora is survived by her parents; her sisters, Isabella (Garrett) Owens and Elexa Evitts; her brother, Ethan Stearns; her nephew, Theo Ashbrook; and her cherished cat, Thumper. Her memory will forever be held close by those who loved her.

A memorial service to honor Theadora’s life will be held on Thursday, July 16, 2026, at 12:00 p.m. at Wilson Miller Funeral Home in Midland, Michigan. Pastor John Engler will officiate the service. Friends and family are invited to gather for visitation beginning at 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be made in Theadora’s memory to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Please keep Theadora’s family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
