Tanya René (Booth) Hankish

Tanya René (Booth) Hankish, age 45 of Freeland, passed away February 17, 2024 at McLaren Bay Region Hospital in Bay City. She was born in Midland on February 11, 1979. Tanya will be most remembered for the love she had for her family, especially her son, Jasper. Together they loved to watch movies, play games, and recently went on a special trip to South Carolina. She enjoyed attending family events such as cookouts, BBQs, and reunions to see everyone she loved. In her spare time, Tanya liked to read and quilt.

Surviving is her loving husband, Joseph Hankish; beloved son, Jasper Hankish; moms, René McAllum and Agnes Booth; grandmother, Sheri Poulos; siblings, Tiffany (Eric) Glover, Billy Booth, Heather (Ray) Ryan, Mellisa Stacy, Amanda (Jack) Maxwell, Amy Burton, Devin Doyle; mother and father in-law, Vera and Robert Hankish; along with many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

Tanya was preceded in death by her dad, William Booth; and grandparents, James Poulos, Busia, Dzia Dzia, Helen Hall and Ralph Booth.

Funeral services for Tanya will be held at 2pm on Friday, February 23, 2024 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with burial to follow in New Hope Twp Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday from 11am until the time of service. Memorial contributions may be offered to her family.
