Tammy Allen Sosolik, age 50 of Midland, devoted mother, wife, daughter and sister, passed away at MidMichigan Medical Center and joined her Savior and Creator on December 17, 2014. The daughter of Bill and Kathy (Mahoney) Allen was born in Saginaw on January 14, 1964. From a very early age, her passion was always to help others and to put other people before herself. After graduating with a Bachelors of Physical Therapy Degree and being awarded the Mary McMillan Award for top physical therapy student in the country, she embarked on her career and then devoted her life to being an incredible stay-at-home Mom. She was tremendously involved with volunteer activities at both school and church. Tammy possessed an unparalleled zest for life, positive attitude and strong faith that made her a genuine joy to be around. She immensely loved gardening, singing, traveling and hiking but her greatest treasures and legacy were daughters, Emily and Madison.
In addition to her daughters, Tammy is survived by her husband, Randy C. Sosolik; her parents, Bill and Kathy Allen of Saginaw; sister, Kelly Monnin of Defiance, Ohio along with a host of nieces and nephews.
A gathering time to celebrate the life of Tammy will be held on Sunday from 4 to 6:00 p.m. at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd., Midland. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made on Tammy's behalf to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital or the charity, Food for the Poor, www.foodforthepoor.org.
