Steven J. Lovely

Steven J. Lovely, age 51 of Midland, passed away Saturday February 10, 2018 at MidMichigan Medical Center, Midland, The son of James D. and the late Rita Kay (Ridgeway) Lovely was born in Bay City on February 22, 1966. He was raised and educate in Auburn and was a 1984 graduate of Bay City Western. Steve was currently employed with Taco Bell in Midland. He was an avid Lion's Fan, enjoyed kayaking, bowling, camping and sitting by the camp fire, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his family.

Surviving is his wife of 16 years the former Laurie A. Sweebe of whom he married on June 29, 2001 on Mackinaw Island; son, Jeff Lovely of Bay City; daughters, Jordan Lovely, Amanda Lovely all of Midland; step son, Jason (Lori) Bennett of Midland; step daughter, Shari (Adam) Knauf of Ashley; grandchildren, Dalton, Cassidy, Connor Bennett; father, Jim Lovely of Auburn; brothers, Scott (Amy) Lovely of Swartz Creek, Doug (Tennie) Lovely of Saginaw; sister, Lisa (Mark) Sweetman of Auburn; mother in law, Marilyn Sweebe of Midland; brothers and sisters in law, David (Shari) Sweebe of Midland; Linda (David) Barrabee of Indiana; many nieces, nephew, aunts, uncles and cousins; best friend, Bill Wager and his faithful companion, Moose.

Funeral services for Steve will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Thursday February 15, 2018 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home 4210 N. Saginaw Rd Midland. Family will receive guest at the funeral home on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 p.m. and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be offered to the family's wishes.
