Sonja Faye Taylor

Sonja Faye Taylor age 58 of Midland died at the MidMichigan Medical Center on Thursday, April 4, 2013. The daughter of the late Carl and Jeannette (Knapp) Krotzer was born on July 12, 1954 in Midland where she was raised and educated. On June 6, 1999 she married Gerald Thomas Taylor in Midland. Sonja enjoyed many things including fishing, camping and crocheting.

Sonja is survived by her husband, Gerald Taylor; daughter, Billie (John) Stark of Midland; step children, Tim (Lisa) Brown of Midland, John Taylor of Mt. Pleasant, Kalvin (Joda) Taylor of Montana; 11 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren; sisters, Carla (Bob) Holzinger of Midland, Nona (Wendell) Schaefer of Mt. Pleasant and Joela (Duane) Sersaw of Midland. Sonja will be greatly missed by special friends, Col-linda & Greg Drake, Edrie Sersaw, Russell Taylor and Yolanda Peasley.
In addition to her parents she was predeceased by a sister, Bridget LaMay; and grandchildren, Joshua LaMay and Kolton Taylor.

Memorial services for Sonja will be conducted at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 7, 2013 from the Floyd Church of God with Reverend James Shanks officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until time of service at the church. Memorials may be offered to the family.
