Shirley V. Wieske

Shirley V. Wieske, age 88 of Beaverton, died Thursday afternoon January 1, 2015 at Tendercare of Midland. The daughter of the late James A. and Phoebe V. (Kent) Healy was born in Spring Canyon, Utah on May 29, 1926. Shirley was an Avid Detroit Tigers Fan, enjoyed bowling, going camping, reading, and going to the casino, watching wildlife, and summers in Pt. Hope, Michigan. On June 10, 1945 in San Diego, California Shirley married Erwin R. Wieske Jr. and after 42 years of marriage he died in January of 1987.

Surviving are her children, Charlotte (Mel) Fosgard of Beaverton, James (Pamela) Wieske of Hope, Patty Sage and partner Sherry of North Las Vegas, Nevada, Norman (Sue) Wieske of Armada, Michigan; grandchildren, Kristi, Steven (Robin), Rosemary, Kristy, Lori, Bethany, Mark, Angeline, Andrew and Suzie; 15 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; best friend, Nina Graham of Beaverton. In addition to her parents Shirley was preceded in death by son, Charles in 1972

Per the wishes of Shirley cremation has taken place and there will be no services. Memorials may be given to the organization of one's choice.
