Rev. Shawn L. Williams

Rev. Shawn LeRoy Frederick Williams, age 58 of Freeland, passed away Saturday, May 15, 2021, at MidMichigan Medical Center, Midland. Shawn was born in Bay City on April 30, 1963. He had been employed with the Dow Chemical Company for many years. Shawn was very active at the Church of Daniel's Band Pine River in Midland, where he served as an Assistant Pastor. He enjoyed camping, traveling, watching movies, and reading the Bible.

&Surviving is his wife, the former Tammy Hauri of whom he married on October 21, 1984; children, Andrew Williams, Crystal (Michael) Forsberg, Shirlee (Jeremy) Lewis; 5 grandchildren; his mother, Patricia (Jake) Plummer; brothers, Christopher (Jennifer) Williams and Scott Plummer; sisters, Candra Gunther, Genevieve (Harold) Wagner; many nieces and nephews. Shawn was preceded in death by his adoptive parents, LeRoy and Margery Williams; brother, LeRoy Williams; sisters, Emmajean Dryer, Joyce, and Mary Ellen Williams.

Funeral and committal services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, May 20, 2021, at the Church of Daniel's Band Pine River in Midland, with Pastor Doug Tester officiating. Interment will be in Midland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive guests at the CHURCH on Thursday from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Memorials may be directed to the wishes of the family. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
