Shawn David Stellmacher

Shawn David Stellmacher, born 1-12-1976 to David and Terri Stellmacher (Altman) passed away Monday July 6 2026.

Shawn was a resident of Midland County for most of his life. He was proud of the business he created Undercut Tree Service, later named Un-Cut Tree Service, where he worked along side his children and family members. He instilled a hard work ethic into his children, which led them to start their own business with the knowledge he taught them. Shawn also had a love for music, and was the drummer of a band called Kaliko Point for several years, earning an award for Best Original Band from the Review Music Magazine. Shawn also had a profound love for his family and children, and always made sure they all had whatever they needed. He was a kind soul, and loved his kids and grandchildren more than anything, and would give the shirt off of his back to anyone in need.

Shawn is survived by his father, David Stellmacher, sisters Cindy Stellmacher and Patti Stellmacher, his five children, Shawn Ripke, Michael Ripke, Justin McCormick, Ashlie McCormick, and David McCormick, and grandchildren Lilly, Faith, Mia, Mason, and Madeline. He is also survived by many loved aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Shawn was pre deceased by his mother Terri Altman and grandparents David and Matilda Stellmacher.

Per the family’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a memorial will be planned at a later time.
