Ruth Charlotte Wilson, age 82 of Clare, formerly of Eight Point Lake and Midland, went to be with her Lord in Heaven on Thursday, July 4, 2013. The daughter of the late George and Charlotte (Ryan) Quilty was born on November 15, 1930 in Chicago, IL . Ruth graduated from Foreman High School in Chicago, IL, attended Wright Junior College in Chicago, then graduated from Illinois Masonic Hospital with her degree as a Registered Nurse specializing in Acute Coronary Care. On March 30, 1968 she married Robert E. Wilson in Chicago, IL and moved to Midland where she actively supported her Husband, Robert E. Wilson, with the Wilson Funeral Home until his retirement. After 29 years of marriage he predeceased her on April 15, 1997. Ruth was a former member of the American Business Women Association and the Illinois Masonic Hospital alumni.

Mrs. Wilson will be missed by her daughters Georgene (Charles) Barnard of, Lake, MI, Gayle (Michael) Gutchak of Clare, MI; grandchildren: Robert (Jacquie) Gutchak, Ryan (and friend Julie Williams) Gutchak, Rory (Katie) Gutchak, Charles ( Christina) Barnard II, Chelsea (Benjamin) Borzenski, Caitlyn (Brent) Holtsclaw, great grandchildren, Hannah E. Barnard and Tayler R. Barnard and Blake Gutchak, Carlie Gutchak, Thomas Gutchak and Emily Gutchak. Ruth will also be greatly missed by her special friend and care giver Joannie Shurtz and her special friend Clara Hancock.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by one granddaughter, Charla A. Barnard.

Funeral service will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, July 8, 2013 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with the Reverend Roger Stauffer, Chaplain for MidMichigan Medical Center officiating. Interment will be in the Midland Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 3:00 pm to 7:00pm. Memorials may be offered to MidMichigan Home Health Care.
