Ruth A. Howell

Ruth A. Howell, age 100 of Midland, passed away Thursday January 11, 2018 at King's Daughters Home. The daughter of the late James and Anna (McComb) Richardson was born in Bay City on August 23, 1917 where she was raised and educated. On February 11, 1939, Ruth married Nicholas W. Howell and after nearly 65 years of marriage he died on February 1, 2004. Ruth was a long time member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Midland. Ruth spent the last 14 years at King's Daughters in Midland and was loved and cared for by so many wonderful people.

She is survived by her children, Judith (Robert) Roberson of Midland, James (Sharon) Howell of Florida and Jerald Howell and fiance Cynthia Schulz of Florida; 7 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents and husband, Ruth was preceded in death by brother, James Richardson; sister, Della Newcomb.

Per the wishes of Ruth cremation has taken place and the interment of her ashes will be in the Midland Cemetery in the spring. Memorials may be directed to Trinity Lutheran Church or King's Daughters Home. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson MILLER Funeral Home.
