Ruth M. Hoon

Ruth M. Hoon, age 90 of Midland died at the MidMichigan Medical Center on Wednesday, April 17, 2013. The daughter of the late Winslow and Dora Beach was born on September 14, 1922 in Midland. On December 31, 1943 she married Roy Hoon after 41 years of marriage he predeceased her on June 17, 1985. Ruth was a loving homemaker. She was a member of the Midland Missionary Church and enjoyed the church family. She was an avid Bingo player, enjoyed Tigers Baseball, embroidery and spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Ruth is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Allen) Sensabaugh of Midland; grandchildren, Troy (Laurie) Sensabaugh, Michelle Forest and friend Tom Owen; great grandchildren, Emily Sensabaugh, Timothy Sensabaugh, Tyler Forest; and sister, Dorothy Drake. Ruth was predeceased by her brothers, Orin Beach and Harold Beach and sisters, Lillian Kunick and Gladys Chapin.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Monday, April 22, 2013 from the Midland Missionary Church with the Reverends Mark Beers and Fred Becknell officiating. Interment will follow in Poseyville Cemetery. Visitation will be at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home on Sunday from 2 to 8 pm and at the church on Monday from 10:00 am until time of service.
