Ruth L. Goss

Ruth L. Goss, age 87 of Midland, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025 at MyMichigan Medical Center. She was born to the late Archie and Geneva (Bell) Buckner was born in Saginaw on May 16, 1937. Ruth was an avid country music fan and enjoyed traveling to many country music festivals. She was a member of Memorial Presbyterian Church, and the Red Hat Society. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, but most of all, her husband.

Surviving is her husband, Edward Goss, of whom she married on August 27, 1954; sons, William (Sue) Goss, John Goss; daughter, Debra (Brad) Benzenberg; grandchildren, Tyler (Jillian) Goss, Destiny Goss, Nevaeh Goss; great grandchildren, Tyler, Zoey Brown, Leonard Goss; sister-in-law, Mary Buckner; many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her daughter, Gail Goss; brother, Donald Buckner; granddaughter, Jillian Benzenberg; brother, John Buckner.

The celebration of life for Ruth will be held on Wednesday, March 26, 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd, Midland, MI 48640. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Rev. Dr. Wallace H. Mayton III of Memorial Presbyterian Church will officiate. Memorial contributions may be offered to Memorial Presbyterian Church.
