Ruth E. (Clark) Keyser

Ruth E. (Clark) Keyser, age 52 of Midland, was surrounded by her family when she went to be with her Lord and Savior, Thursday, August 5, 2010.

The daughter of Charlotte (Klug) and the late Leland Clark was born March 14, 1958 in Harbor Beach. Ruth graduated from Harbor Beach High School in 1976 and moved to Midland to attend Northwood University where she met and married Roger C. Keyser on July 29, 1979.
Ruth worked in food service at Northwood University for 18 years and then for the Beaverton Schools for 14 years. She attended Mapleton United Methodist Church where she also taught Sunday School. Ruth will always be remembered by her family and friends for the special sweet treats she loved to bake and share. Ruth would like to acknowledge the Sasse family for their many years of support.

Mrs. Keyser is survived by her husband of 31 years, Roger; son, Michael Keyser; daughters, Rene (Chris) Barst and Nicole Keyser all of Midland; grandchildren, Landon and Caden Barst; mother Charlotte Clark of Harbor Beach; brothers, Thomas (Becky) Clark of Auburn, WA, Douglas Clark of Nashville, TN, Richard (Rhonda) Clark of Celina, TX; sister, Jacqueline Deike of Macomb, MI; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her father she was predeceased by brothers, David and William Clark; and brother in law, Gene Deike.

Funeral services for Ruth will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, August 10, 2010 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Reverend L. Cecile Adams of Mapleton United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will follow in Midland Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 6-8 pm, Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, and Tuesday from 10:00 am until the time of service. Memorial donations may be offered to the Beaverton Schools for the Band or Sports Booster Clubs or to MidMichigan Home Health Care (Hospice).
