Roy A. Wilkinson

Roy A. Wilkinson Sr., age 86 of Midland, passed away peacefully at MyMichigan Medical Center on Sunday, October 6, 2024. He was born to the late Harry Lloyd and Margaret Nettie (Martin) Wilkinson on August 21, 1938 in Saginaw. Roy married Arlene Wilkinson (Ross) in Sanford.

Together he and Arlene were married 61 years and happily raised their children Margaret (Mike) Wilkinson, Mary (Mark) Vinson, Roy (Ferrah Hollenbeck) Wilkinson, and Arnold (Sarah) Wilkinson. Roy was a loving grandfather to Melissa (Matt) Gary, Tiffany, Matt, Rebecca, Carly (Joe) Kraska; and two great grandchildren.

Roy honorably served his country in the United States Army. He was honorably discharged and was employed with Tri City Plastic. Roy enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. Enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking, and tinkering on lawn mowers.

In addition to his parents, Roy was predeceased by his siblings Blyth and Gladys Martin, Beaulah, Mina, Kenneth, Leona, Wesley, and Wayne Wilkinson.

Funeral services for Roy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 10, 2024 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home, 4210 N. Saginaw Rd, Midland, MI 48640. Public visitation will be on Thursday from 12 p.m. until the time of service with Military Honors being provided by the United States Army and Midland Honor Guard. Interment will be in Great Lakes National Cemetery, Holly Michigan.
