Ronda S. Pfefferl

Ronda Sue Pfefferl, age 67 of Sanford, passed away on Wednesday August 20, 2025 at University of Michigan Medical Center in Ann Arbor.  She was the daughter of the late Norman and Marion (Maxwell) Haskell and was born in Midland on November 8, 1957. She had been employed with MyMichigan Medical Center in Gladwin for 15 years and then worked at Savant for 7 years. Ronda enjoyed the outdoors, planting and caring for her gardens and flower beds. She also had a love for traveling and loved to ride motorcycles with her husband. Her great passion was her granddaughter, whom she wanted so badly to beat her illness and be able to see her grow up.

Surviving is the love of her life, James Pfefferl, whom she married on June 17, 1978; sons, Brent and Blake Pfefferl (Cindy Nelson); granddaughter, Autumn; Also surviving are her siblings, Linda (Tom) Fisher, David (Kelly) Haskell and Chuck (Kathy) Haskell; and her rescue beagle, Cooper. In addition to her parents, Ronda was preceded in death by brothers, Michael and Ronnie Haskell and Larry Maxwell.

Per the wishes of Ronda, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will take place at 11:00am Wednesday September 3, 2025 at Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Rev. Dan Youmans officiating. Family will receive guests at the funeral home on Wednesday from 10:00am until the time of service.
