Ronald D. "Ron" Case

Ronald D. "Ron" Case, age 55 of Midland, died Saturday February 9, 2013 at MidMichigan Medical Center. The son of Rita M. (Yarnell) and the late Albert R. Case was born in Midland on December 29, 1957. He was employed with New Century Engineering & Design. Ron was an avid softball and baseball player and was very involved with coaching little leagues; he was also a talented artist and loved all kinds of music.

Surviving is his wife of 17 years, the former Danielle Kucera of whom he married on April 8, 1995; sons, Tyler and Zachary Case (at home); mother Rita Case of Gladwin; brother, Albert (Becky) Case of Gladwin; sister, Ellen (Paul) Schmidt of Southaven; nieces and nephews, Alyssa, Blaine, Katety, Devon, Darian; many aunts, uncles and extended family; mother in law, Karen Kucera of Bay City; sister in law, Debra Love and fiancé, Mark Habeck of Essexville; good friend, Rick Engle of Midland and many other friends and softball/baseball families. He is also survived by his estranged daughters, Courtney & Tiffany.

Funeral services for Ron will take place 11:00 a.m. Friday February 15, 2013 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Rev. Chuck Foerster of Trinity Lutheran Church will officiate. Interment will follow in Midland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
