Ronald R. Pomranky

Ronald R. Pomranky, age 71 of Coleman, passed away Monday, March 26, 2018 at Cascades Senior Living in Midland. The son of the late Roy A. and Fern E. (Farison) Pomranky was born April 13, 1946 in Midland. Ron worked as a truck driver for Chemical Lehman through the Teamsters, as a truck driver for Jack Pomranky Excavating, and retired from Beirlein Companies as a safety inspector. He loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.

Ron married the former Kathleen S. Krotzer on October 13, 1989 in Midland and they were married nearly 29 years. Kathleen died 8 days after Ron's death on April 3, 2018.

Ron is survived by his children children, Jason Pomranky, Jennifer Donner, and Kyle Pomranky; grandchildren Gage, Mason, and Addison Rae; brother, Elmer Pomranky; sisters, Barbara Hall, Fern Parent, and Mary Headley.

In addition to his parents Ron was preceded in death by sister, Beverly Weiger; nephews, Warren Pomranky and Robert Weiger; sister in-law, Mary Pomranky; and brothers in-law, Burley Hall, Ernest Parent, Leon Headley.

Funeral and committal services for both Ron and Kathy will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Rev. Bonnie Krotzer-Whittier officiating. Interment will be in Jerome Township Cemetery. Those who wish to memorialize Ron are asked to plant a tree in his memory. Trees can be ordered through www.midlandcd.com.
