Ronald James Pieper Sr.

Ronald James Pieper Sr. age 83 of Sanford, passed away on February 18, 2025 at MyMichigan Health in Midland. He was born in Bay County, Michigan on May 18, 1941 to the late Herman and Helen (Szyperski) Pieper. Ron enjoyed fishing, spending time with his family and friends, and watching television, particularly motorsport racing.

Surviving are his children, Christopher (Heidi) Pieper and Ronald Pieper Jr.; grandchildren, Michael (Makenna), Courtney, Ronald III (Missy), and Kennis; great grandchild, Luna; siblings, Bernard (Sue) Pieper, Duane (Cheri) Pieper, Lorraine Romero, Bruce Pieper, Joyce Pieper, Albert Pieper Jr., and Annette Pieper. In addition to his parents, Ron was preceded in death by his siblings, Herman Pieper Jr., Norm Pieper, and Shirley Brewer.

Special thanks go to Nancy Czycalla. Her and Ron always had each other's backs and she took great care of him.

Per the wishes of Ron's family, cremation has taken place and a graveside service will take place at a later date in St. Michael's Cemetery in Pinconning. Arrangements are under the care of Wilson Miller Funeral Home.
