Robert J. "Bob" Douponce, age 82 of Auburn, passed away Monday morning November 29, 2021 at McLaren Bay. The son of the late Joseph and Thelma (McCarty) Douponce was born in Bay City on March 16, 1939. Bob had been employed as a salesman for many different novelty companies and radio stations. In his earlier years he enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob was a member of the Midland Eagles Lodge, Home Builders Associations and Chamber of Commerce.
Surviving is his wife, the former Vonda Brown of whom he married on April 16, 1988; children, Tammy (John) Brooks, Robin (Mark) Allison, Robert (Jessie) Douponce, Jr., Suzette Redmond; step children, Lori (Paul) Meylan, James Talicska; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; sister, Donna (Bob) Miller; brother, John Douponce; sister-in-law, Kathy Metcalf; many nieces and nephews.
Per the wishes of Bob, cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
