Rickford "Rick" P. Wilson, age 57 of Sanford, Michigan died at the Mid-Michigan Medical Center on Tuesday, November 3, 2015.
The son of Donna (Wooley) Wilson and the late Claudis Wilson was born on November 12, 1957 in Midland where he was raised and educated. On July 8, 1979 Rick married the former Tammy Jeffrey in Midland. They resided in Carland, MI where he worked for the City of Lansing in the Transportation Department. Rick retired from the City of Lansing in October 2013, after 25 years of service and moved to Sanford. He was a member of Local 2256 and was a devoted and loving husband and father.
Rick is survived by his wife of 36 years, Tammy Wilson; daughters Tiffany (Donovan) Mills of Gladwin, Angela Wilson of Sanford; mother Donna Wilson; brother Steve (Vonnie) Wilson; sisters Roxie (Dick) Robinette and Terry (Ron) Wilson.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 pm Friday, November 6, 2015 from the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home with Pastor Eric Smith of Midland Missionary Church officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home from noon until time of service. Memorials may be offered to St. Jude Children Research Hospital, POB 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
