Richard C. Schearer

Richard C. Schearer, age 57 of Midland, died at his residence on Saturday January 31, 2009 surround by his family. The son of the late William and Eva (Beebe) Schearer was born in Midland on March 13, 1951 where he was raised and educated graduating from Dow High School in 1971. Richard worked all of his life as a mechanic and painter of motor vehicles. He enjoyed the outdoors, working in his large garage. Richard loved his family and his birds, pretty boy and pretty girl.

Surviving are his son, Robert (Carey) Schearer of Midland; grandchildren, Daniyelle and Theo Schearer; brothers, Edward (Brenda) Schearer who was Richard's twin brother, Jerry (Linda) Schearer, Darryl (Nichole) Schearer; sisters, Marji (Charlie) Roberson, Wilma (Phil) DeForest, Jackie (Mike) Sysak; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Richard was preceded in death by his girl friend, Linda Lucas.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Friday February 6, 2009 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Richard's brother, Rev. Jerry Schearer will officiate. Interment will follow in New Hope Cemetery. Friends may call the funeral home on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
