Richard G. Roberson

Richard G. Roberson, Sr., age 80 of Midland, died Thursday morning November 8, 2012 at Brittany Manor. The son of the late Roy and Vera (Sasse) Roberson was born in Midland on August 22, 1932. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Richard had been employed with the Labor Union Local 1098. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Surviving is his wife the former Shirley Dice; sons, Mike Roberson, Butch Roberson, and Richard Roberson, Jr.; daughter, Sally (Dean) Scheall; grandchildren, Michael, Jake, Jordon Roberson, Theresa (Harry) Cobb II, Bridgette Franklin, Brittney, Cherie and Jason Scheall, great grandchildren, Mason Roberson, Benjamin and Allea Cobb, Kylie Maloney; sisters, Wanda Packard, Kay (Michael) Schmidt, Loretta (Jack) Reitmeir; brother, Jim (Linda) Sasse; aunt Jean Brown; many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents Richard was preceded in death by brothers, Wilbur Roberson and Rodney Sasse.

A gathering time will take place on Sunday November 11, 2012 at the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home from 12 noon until 4:00 p.m. followed by Military Honors under the Auspice of the United States Army. Personal messages of condolence may be offered to the family at www.wilson-miller.com
