Reinold H. Emery

Reinold H. \\"Bud\\" Emery, 84, of Midland died Monday, June 8, 2009 at his home.The son of the late Theodore and Delia (Chartrand) Emery was born May 16, 1925 in Merrill where he was raised and educated.Bud served with the U.S. Navy during WWII. On May 10, 1947 he married Loretta Lee Brown in Midland; she predeceased him February 4, 2005. Bud had worked for the Dow Chemical Company, retiring in 1979. He wintered in Texas for many years and was an avid hunter. Bud was a great family man and loved everyone.Mr. Emery is survived by his son, Randy of Jacksonville, Florida; daughters, Rose Ackerman of Orlando, Florida, Connie (Butch) Wilkinson of Midland, Jan Emery of Edenville and her special friend, John Musselman, Mary (Dickie) Terry of Teague, Texas; daughter in law, Dar Emery of Grover Hill, Ohio; -13- grandchildren; -9- great grandchildren; and sister, Elfacine \\"Tommie\\" Hoon of Midland.In addition to his parents and wife, he was predeceased by his son, Ron.Private Funeral and Committal services will be held at Midland Memorial Gardens by Pastor Fred Becknell of Midland Missionary Church. Donations in Mr. Emery\\'s memory may be offered to Midland Missionary Church Kitchen Fund where he was actively involved.
