Reed S. Graham, age 72 of Midland, died Saturday October 18, 2014 at his residence. The son of the late Robert R. and Orpha M. (Brown) Graham was born in Saginaw on May 26, 1942. He was a 1960 graduate of Arthur Hill School and attended Michigan State University. Reed had been employed with Ironworkers Union Local 42625 until his retirement in 1999. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing horseshoes, was an avid gun enthusiast, going camping, working in his yard, story telling and in his younger days racing and working on cars. Reed was a member of the Sanford Moose and Eagles Clubs and was a former member of the Freeland Jaycees.
Surviving is his wife of 51 years the former Peggy Jan Ingram of whom he married in August 24, 1963 in Freeland United Methodist Church; children, Lisa (Jeff) Timmons, Shawn (Donna) Graham, Heidi (Randy) Dunham all of Midland; grandchildren, Chris & Courtney Timmons, Jacob Haney, Cody Graham, Jordan Terwillegar, Miranda Dunham. In addition to his parents Reed was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Graham.
Per Reeds wishes cremation has taken place and a celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday November 8th, 2014 at Lincoln Township Hall N. Hope Rd Sanford.
