Raymond R. Loose

Raymond R. Loose, age 85 of Coleman, passed away Tuesday morning October 29, 2019 at Cascades Assisted Living in Midland. The son of the late Rev. Donald C. and Marion (Zimmerman) Loose was born in Midland on April 5, 1934. Ray served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He was a bricklayer, enjoyed hunting and fishing, was an amazing cook and an avid Tigers Fan. Ray was a member of American Legion Post 443, Sanford, and Sanford Church of God. On February 18, 1956 Ray married the former Marjorie J. Sowles. She passed away in 2000.

Surviving is his son, Randy (Sharon) Loose; daughters, Julie (Doug) Pnacek, Laura (Jerry) Black, Brenda (Dave) Heinritz; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brothers, Jerry (Joyce) Loose, Larry (friend Cheryl) Loose; sisters, Nancy (Eugen) Jankowski, Luella (Daniel) Staley, Marilyn Swenson, Clara (Lynn) Valentine, Ann (Tom) Seabrook. In addition to his parents and wife, Ray was preceded in death by a son, James R. Loose; brothers, Donald and James Loose and sister, Donna Loose.

Funeral services for Ray will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday November 4, 2019 from Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. Military Funeral Honors will be provided by the United State Army and the Midland Area Veterans. Interment will follow in Midland City Cemetery. Family will receive guests at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service.
