Priscilla J. (Hall) Gorman, age 86 formerly of Midland died July 15, 2010 at Provident Park Hospital in Novi.

The daughter of the late John Wilbur and Anna Elizabeth (Spinks) Hall was born March 2, 1924 in Dayton, Ohio. On May 29, 1947, Priscilla married James Gorman, Jr. and raised two children. During her lifetime, she held positions as a laboratory technician, medical office manager and retail sales associate. After 57 years of marriage, Mr. Gorman died in 2004.

The Gorman's moved to Midland in 1968 where Priscilla became a tireless volunteer for local organizations. She served on the board of directors of the King's Daughters Home and as a docent at the Midland Center for the Arts and the Marshall Fredericks Museum. Her fellow members of the Beta Sigma Phi Service Sorority and the Midland Chapter of the P.E.O. philanthropic organization knew Priscilla for her ever-present smile and unconditional willingness to help anyone in need.

Mrs. Gorman is survived by her son, James C. (Marilyn) Gorman, III of Birmingham; and one grandson, Ian Gorman. In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her son, Stephen E. Gorman and her brother, John W. Hall.

In keeping with her wishes, cremation will be through the Wilson MILLER Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 3:00PM Saturday, August 28 at Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Reverend Wallace H. Mayton, III officiating. Memorials may be offered to the Stephen E.
